Description
A work-in-progress image of my friend Ellen (a.k.a. PintoTess on another site) with her horse Tess (Kissed by Colour), a beautiful 6-year-old Connemara Pony mare.
She asked me to draw them together on HorseForum.com, and I was taken by this so instead of just sketching, I offered her a free portrait; the only expense to her being I get to use it in my portfolio. (: Referenced from a photo belonging to Ellen.
To Fix:
- Ellen's leg is a little short, despite her natural lack of height.
- Tess's rear leg needs to be elongated.
- English tack is a bitch.
- Tess's "mane beads" need fixed.
- Lines need to be refined.
- On to coloring!
