Starting to shade the shoulders; touched up some of the facial shading. Got a few more touch-ups to do. Mane and tail will come last.

Thank you. (: It helped that the horse's owner is a photographer, and she really helped me out by giving me a high-quality reference of her filly which I'm working from.
so you get the photo's onf the owner, that sounds sweet cus if you can get pics of a horse that nobody else can get nobody can mek something that likes on it and i hope the filly got to be nice ;3
Yes. The owner takes her own pictures. But it's hard to make "original" pictures of horses because there isn't a whole lot that you can (safely) do when taking pictures of a horse. The only reason that you'll see me on my belly in the pasture, or on my knees in front of a horse, is because I know our horses very well and I know which ones are safe to do this around. You know?
