A friend of mine from the barn found us 2 horses that need to be trained.
The one I'm training is a 4-year-old AQH Palomino filly they call "Goldie." My friend is going to train the 1-month-younger half sister to Goldie, who they call "Two-Tone" (a dunskin) The fellow told me that Goldie's name is actually "Mayflower somethingorother," and changed her barn name to 'Goldie' because he thought 'Mayflower' was stupid. HA.
Other than that I've been working my nearly-obese Creampuff in the round pen, doing walk/trot exercises to get her tone up and fat tissue down. So far, so good. Soon I need to take her on the trail before she gets barn sour again. :/ I need to be the one to take her, though. The last time she was out was with a customer; she barn soured (she reared up and turned around, trying to come back). The girls who put the customer on her knows how this horse is and put a customer, a frequent at that, in danger by wanting to "stick it to me" and send her out for the first time in 3 weeks or so without me. Don't know what they were thinking, but I was giving a lesson and my opinion was hindered.
So here's to an adventurous ride later today, and more to come!

Almost Forgot...
Life has been quite the joy ride lately.
I almost gave up art. I lost a job, and got a new one as a tow truck driver for one of the largest companies in our area. I have good intentions to get back into the swing of things after upgrading my art supply collection.
Cheers, and I've missed the lot of you
Breathing again...?
After a lot of drama that went down I'm back... Hopefully with a vengeance! I've spent a lot of time working. Divorce happened. Promotion at work. Bamber's training is a constant roller coaster.
So if you don't see me much here, be sure to check out my other account(s) as well ;)

Bamber and stuff.
I'm not dead, I promise.
I've been working on another HARPG stable, which will be co-run by a new friend I met off of Equiverse. :) I got my pony, Bamber (aka "Lil Joe") back in August and I adore him. It'll be a short matter of time until I start putting him under saddle work. But the little bastard doesn't know how to lunge (or is TOO SMART for it)!!
~ohshitplz (https://www.deviantart.com/ohshitplz) I've come to the conclusion that he's too laid back for a gymkhana/rodeo prospect... he'll be my competitive trail and/or JUMPING prospect, instead! That little jerk loves to jump. BI And like potato chips, I'm looking for another horse!
As for art, I've been doing a lot of
A little help?
I plugged in hubby's headphones to my computer so I could listen to music and not interrupt his TV show while I draw. When I unplugged them, my speakers aren't working. I thought it could be the program (Windows Media), so I closed it and re-started it. No progress.
Anyone know wtf happened to my speakers or how I could get them to play again?

Horse training. What are you training them for? (Getting the saddle on back, bridling?) That sounds so fun. I really enjoy training horses!
As for the barn sour horse, I know how that is. >.<' customer can be really hard to work with too. Anyways! Cheers!
